Principal's Message

Hello Woodside Community!

Welcome back to a new year at our school. Take your favorite summer memories and lets build on that momentum for an unforgettable 2025-2026 school year! My name is Charlie Moynahan, and I am excited for my first year as Principal alongside such an amazing staff. Also joining me this year is our New Vice Principal, Laini Manley, who brings a caring heart and years of K-8 experience.

We want to welcome you to our 2nd Annual Cougar Cookout on August 13th! This exciting event brings the entire Woodside Community together, with new and returning students and their families mingling with and meeting the Woodside Staff. The timing is 4:00pm-6pm, and specific Back to School Night greeting times for each grade level will be sent to you soon.

As we continue on our Innovative Experience, iterating and prototyping new ways to empower your students to their potentials, I want to welcome each of you to have a very active role in your child's education. There will be many ways you can partner with the staff here throughout the year to bring your child's education to life in dramatic fashion. Whether you take the commitment to serve on the PTO, or stop by the office to see where, when, and how often you can volunteer on campus, we welcome and strongly encourage your participation this year.
